BMJ snags Top-5 finish in Summer Nationals stop at Peoria

Following a fourth-to-second run in his heat race, Billy gained one spot in the 40-lap feature to place seventh.

On Wednesday afternoon at Peoria Speedway (Peoria, Ill.), Moyer Jr. laid down the third-fastest time in his group before placing third in his heat. Starting the $5,000-to-win A-Main in seventh, Billy clawed forward two spots in the 40-lap affair to register a fifth-place finish. He followed Bobby Pierce, Jason Feger, Brian Shirley, and Ryan Unzicker across the line.
