Third-place finish in CCSDS stop at Jackson

Competing in a Labor Day weekend with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), Billy Moyer Jr. visited Crowley’s Ridge Raceway (Paragould, Ark.) on Friday afternoon for the Labor Day Classic. With 28 Late Models entered, Moyer Jr. locked his spot into the opening night feature with a third-place finish in his heat. The following night at Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Miss.), Billy’s fifth-place finish in his heat race pinned him 14th on the starting grid for the $3,000-to-win A-Main. Wheeling his way into the Top-5, Moyer Jr. passed 11 cars in the 30-lapper to finish third. He followed B.J. Robinson and Neil Baggett across the line with Morgan Bagley and Chad Thrash rounding out the Top-5.
