BMJ kicks off Lucas Oil slat at Golden Isles

After losing Friday night’s opener to Mother Nature, Billy Moyer Jr. returned to Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Georgia) on Saturday evening for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned RhinoAg Super Bowl of Racing. In a field of 45 cars, Billy followed up the fourth fastest time in his qualifying group with the 4th and final transfer spot in his heat race. Earning the 13th-starting position for the $12,000-to-win A-Main, Moyer Jr. fell eight spots in the 50-lapper to place 21st. (Zach Yost Racing Photography)
