Moyer Jr. visits Brownstown for Jackson 100 weekend

On Friday afternoon Billy Moyer Jr. ventured to Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Ind.) to take part in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) doubleheader. Drawing 59 cars for the Night Before the Jackson, Moyer Jr. lost his breaks while running in a transfer spot in his heat race, sending him into the B-Main. Failing to place second or better, Billy received a provisional into the opening night feature. With $10,000 on the line, Billy gained seven spots in the 40-lapper to place 19th. The following night for the Jackson 100, Billy came in sixth in his heat before placing fifth in his B-Main. Relying on a provisional into the $15,000-to-win finale, Moyer Jr. passed eight cars in the 100-lap affair to place 17th.

Billy is currently 10th in the latest LOLMDS point standings.
