Seventh-place finish in DTWC at Portsmouth

Billy Moyer Jr. traveled to Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio) on Friday night to wrap up the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) season with the 40th annual General Tire Dirt Track World Championship. In a stout field of 63 cars, Moyer Jr. laid down the seventh fastest time in his qualifying group before grabbing the third and final transfer spot in his heat race. (Heath Lawson photo)

Starting Saturday night’s $100,000-to-win Dirt Track World Championship in 14th, Billy marched forward seven spots in the 100-lap affair to register a seventh place finish.

Billy finished 11th in the final LOLMDS point standings.
